2008 DWGL Events Schedule

May 6 Official First Day – Substitue Par for Your 4 Worst Holes.

May 13           Long and Short – Par 3s and Par 5s plus #12 minus 1⁄2 handicap.

May 20           Low-Net Twosome with Blind Partner.

May 27           No League Day – Qualifying rounds for the PGA Nationwide Tour.

*June 3           Victory Tournament – Best 5 low nets.

June 10          Shotgun start, all tees at 7:30 am – Rainbow Circle (Choose your color

before tee off; teams with lowest net score win.) – Free Clinic 1 pm

*June 17         Trouble (1 point for each sand trap, water hazard, out-of-bounds, 3 or more putts, or playing wrong ball. Player with fewest points wins.)

June 24          Double Ringers

*July 1             Double Ringers

July 8              WWGA Scholarship Day – Odds & Evens (Double Ringer rain date.)

July 15            Shotgun start, all tees at 7:30 am – Two Best Balls for Your Team –

Free Clinic 1 pm

July 22            Stroke Play

*July 29           Stroke Play

Aug 5              Stroke Play

Aug 12            Stroke Play – Free Clinic 1 pm

*Aug. 19         Most 1 Putts & Chip-Ins (Stroke Play Rain Day.)

Aug. 26           Guest Day Shotgun Start, all tees at 7:30 am

*Sept 2           Guess Your Score (Before tee-off, make sure you have made a guess

of what your final score will be.)

Sept 9             Shotgun start, all tees at 7:30 am – Red vs. Blue – Free Clinic 1 pm

Sept 16          T & F (Numbered holes beginning with a T or F, minus 1⁄2 handicap.)

Sept. 23         Hate ’Em (Before tee-off, select one hole from each 9 & substitute par.)

Last day for ringers.

Sept.30          DWGL Olympics (Flight A plays from gold tees, B from silver, C&D from bronze.)

Oct 7               ANNUAL LUNCHEON

Oct. 14            Shotgun start, all tees at 8:00 am – Scramble with lunch at the club.
