"Ryder Cup Chicago" 2008

In the Second Year of the "Ryder Cup Chicago" competition the teams changed slightly but the fun and excitement could not have been any greater. Our Deerfield Golf Club team traveled only a few miles to Chevy Chase Golf Club for two days of team golf competition.

The matches were all very close and the "Cup" trophy was decided by a 15 foot putt on the last hole of the last day by the last group.

Deerfield is sorry to say that Chevy Chase team memeber Tom Horan's putt found center cup to give Chevy Chase a 9.5 to 8.5 point victory.

The teams are already talking about next year when Chevy Chase has agreed to come to Deerfield and give us the opporunity to take back the "Cup"
