"Ryder Cup Chicago" 2011

Well, a new look, a little luck and alot of hard work led the Deerfield Golf Club to a narrow win in this year's Ryder Cup versus Chevy Chase. 

After losing the cup for the last three years the Deerfield team displayed a confident Pink uniform a new attitude and won 9.5 and 8.5.  The matches came down to a 45 minute rain delay and finally the last match on day two was halved by Tim Carew on hole 16 giving Deerfield a narrow .5 margin of victory.
 

PGA Professional James McCormick took the confident Pink to a EXTREME "Old School" theme. With solid play he and Asst. Mike Hermsen went 3-0 for the weekend and set the tone for a Deerfield win.
